On the heels of Lifetime’s “The Rap Game,” VH1 has created its own Atlanta-based reality competition music show called “Signed.”

The show, which airs on Wednesday at 8 p.m., features three mentors: rap impresario and part-time Atlantian Rick Ross, Atlanta rap star The-Dream and Lenny Santiago, senior vice president of Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.

In the first episode, most of the action happens at Patchwerks Recording Studios in West Midtown Atlanta, which was originally created by former NFL player and “Real Housewives” participant Bob Whitfield 23 years ago and has recorded music with artists ranging from Mariah Carey and Toni Braxton to Britney Spears and 50 Cent.

During a promotional interview for the show Rick Ross, was asked why he had never signed a woman to his label.

His answer…

“You know,” he gave an explanation of the personnel make-up of Maybach Music Group, “I never did it because I always thought I would end up fucking a female rapper and fucking the business up.”

“I’m so focused on my business,” Rick went on. “I just, I gotta be honest with you. You know, she looking good. I’m spending so much money on her photo shoots. I gotta fuck a couple times.”

So there’s that…

So the team at Chunky Chickz Radio Show decided that we would delve a little bit into Rick Ross’ perspective and discuss this topic as only we can.

So, was Ross being sexist? A lot of women were offended by Ross speaking his truth… Do women really want to hear the truth from men? Does Ross have a right to conduct his business as he sees fit?

FYI Ross has since apologized and all is well, but we still felt the topic needed to be addressed. Please tune in to Chunky Chickz Radio show each and every Sunday at 8:30 pm on to hear our perspectives!

Last night Vic Mensa held a listening session for his debut Album which is set to be released on July 28th. It’s like he’s guaranteed success with Jay-Z providing the introduction at his listening event. Big Tings!

According to Jay, Vic Mensa is a “once in a lifetime artist”

“Vic is a very special talent. He can do everything – sing well, rap well. He even engineers himself sometimes. He’s an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist,” – Jay – Z

Here’s the part that I love about Jay’s intro… He basically informed the crowd to not be on no industry shit! (excuse the hood grammar) I feel him… In my experience, I have been witness to stale, boring events where essentially industry folk come out to people watch, “network” and not to have good time. Side note: I’m working on an event called Miami Renaissance and this will be strictly prohibited. You better bring your dancing shoes because that is how we roll on this side… lol but seriously!

Ok, back to Vic Mensa lol

Vic took the stage to speak on his debut project, stating the following:

“This album is called The Autobiography. This album is really my blood, sweat, and tears, and everything that I’ve learned up to this point in life,” the Roc Nation signee began. “I kind of had to go through a lot of different things to even be able to put this album down on wax… When I talk about this album, I often say that somebody listening to it would know me better than a casual acquaintance that has known me for twenty years, if you listen to this album and really digest it. The things that I’m saying on there are so personal and real to me, but I wanted to make it in a way that everybody could relate to those situations to their own lives… This is just my story, The Autobiography.”

The Autobiography: As Told By Vic Mensa will host features from Weezer, Syd, The-Dream, Pharrell, Saul Williams, Ty Dolla $ign, and fellow Chicago natives, Joey Purp and Chief Keef. No I.D. helms as the project’s executive producer.

Hey Haz,

Ever been in love with a lesbian that ain’t know she was a lesbian?! That was me a year ago in Afghanistan she’s sexy but loves masculine things smh here’s the question that was a tangent, why are people attracted to people in relationships?! Seriously I’m feeling a broad that has a worthless nigga. I’m like two steps from fucking her brains out and giving her a taste of good dick and the good life. What’s a nigga to do?!

Thank God & Stay Humble

Aight nigga damn lol…. First things first, no I have never been in love with a lesbian that ain’t know she liked catfish.  Leave her alone she sounds like trouble. Now to answer your second and real question…. Why do people find themselves attracted to people in relationships? Its a few different reasons and ways I can answer this the first is the most obvious. People in relationships “tend” to “have their shit together” for the most part because if they weren’t on point to some degree nobody would want them. If she has a man willing to claim her as his own then chances are she is doing something right or has some qualities about her that warrant that type of treatment. Also we as humans naturally want the shit we can’t have so just knowing that a woman “belongs” to someone else will add to that level of intrigue and excitement about her. It becomes more of a challenge and as men we love the challenge . The real question is how do you know her nigga is worthless? Has she been telling you all of his flaws and painting the picture that he ain’t shit? If so then don’t be so quick to fall for that trap. A woman in a un- fulfilling relationship isn’t always looking to cheat. She is just looking for that fulfillment that she lacks. If he is knocking the lining out of her crabby patty and just not there for her emotionally and supporting her the way she feels she deserves then no matter what you say or do ur chances of hitting are slim. Women have a tendency to seek the masculine attention they desire from an outside source to fulfill their needs, but won’t fuck that man because to them that would be considered cheating. To me if she telling you all his dirt but still going home to him you gotta brace yaself for the possibility that you’re in the friend zone. You might be the nigga she can vent to, get a lil positive reassurance that she is attractive, still got it and can still get it and be the boost she needs to go back and deal with her ain’t shit nigga. Just remember for all the bad she tells you there is obviously something good she ain’t telling you that’s making her stay. My advice would be don’t invest too much time in her until you start to see a return on your initial investment. Let her know that she has an option in you but that you also have options and ain’t waiting around for her to leave him. Don’t throw salt on buddy no matter what you do, if she brings him up negatively try to shift the convo from him to yall… Instead of focusing on the bad he does try to get her to focus on the good you can do. Make it clear what you can bring to the table that she isn’t already getting and leave it up to her to make the right decision. Also you said you close to giving her the dick and giving her a taste of the “good life” nigga you better not be wearing no cape tryin to save a damsel in distress lol… Lemme know if you got any other questions and keep me updated on ya progress!
